US President Barack Obama is serving his final term at the Oval Office and is going to leave in January 2017. But unlike his predecessors, he is going to remain in Washington DC so that his youngest daughter can finish high school.
So what plans does the President have after he retires from one of the most powerful offices in the world?
In a story in the New York Times on how Obama spends after-work hours, they mentioned a small dreamy conversation between the President and the current mayor of Chicago where the two spoke about opening a T-shirt shack in Hawaii. The shack will only sell one colour and size – white and medium. Why? Well, years of long meetings that concluded without any decisions have led them to fantasise about a life with minimal decision making.
Well, we can’t say if the T-shirt shack will turn to reality, but we’re sure Obama will spend many a month post retirement snoozing!
